Today

My sweet Travis downloaded tons of pictures on my computer yesterday. Like 1 gig of pictures...so many I had to put them on a portable drive. Took forever. But gosh, was it worth it. I have smiled so many times looking at each folder of the past year. Saying , "ah" and "oh" and "oh gosh, I remember that day". Pictures I have never seen....jogging my memory of precious days gone by. The little one's have grown so much in the past year. Corbin is about to be 5! It was yesterday we held him in our arms for the first time and whispered, "you can have anything you want at any time." And it's true. Corbin is our prince and he rules our house. He is so smart he amazes me. First he wants to be an astronaut, and when he's done with that, he says "I'll drive the train at Zilker Park." Corbin is so awesome. And then Ruby...a little 2 1/2 year old that has won our hearts day by day. Papa was hooked the first time he saw her. I had to work hard to win her over (only because Carrie and Travis and Papa were her world.) I never gave up and now she is my little friend, my precious granddaughter who delights us with her smile, her personality, her athleticism and her beauty. I am reminded as I look at these pictures of the past of something Ken says all the time.... "Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans." I have such a wise husband.
